The Villa benefits from a private community pool set in attractive gardens just 2 minute walk, offering both a main pool and a children section. There is also a children’s playground across from the Villa.

 

Beautiful, safe, “Blue Flag” sandy beaches are approximately 20 minutes drive away at Guradamar, La Marina and Compomar, with many more further afield along the Costa Blanca – the “White Coast”, including quiet bays and coves.

 

Local towns at Guardamar del Segura & Torrevieja are where the Spanish have their holiday apartments and there are a good range of shops, restaurants and bars. Torrevieja also has a bustling international marina.

 

The towns of Orihuela, Elche ( Europe’s largest palm forest), Murcia, Villajoyosa with its “picture card” multi-coloured and captivating Guardalest are all fascinating and beautiful examples of the Spanish culture providing interesting days out , all within an hours drive, if you can tear yourself from the beach!  More locally, are many towns and villages which offer the true flavour and atmosphere of Spain with their Festivals, Carnivals, community events and street markets.

 

Golfers will be spoilt for choice. La Marquesa is situated in Quesada, and there are a further 5 championship golf courses within 35 minutes’ drive. La Finca (10 minutes), Royal Campoamor, Las Ramblas & Villa Martin. La Manga is 45 minutes by car.

 

“Shopoholics” will be in their element with a range of stores from Carrefour, designer boutiques and local Spanish shops offering great value for leather goods, shoes and local arts & ceramics.

 

Weekly street markets are in abundance, being held daily in different villages locally. This provides a wonderful opportunity to explore new villages and towns, an opportunity to meet the locals while snapping up the bargains.

 

For the “young at heart” local activities include water parks, Go-Karting, horse riding or walking along the salt lakes as well as plenty of water sport on the beach and marina. In addition, there are a range of discos and clubs to be found in Guardamar and Torrevieja.

 

The region offers an international range of restaurants and cafes to suit all pockets and tastes, from traditional Spanish to traditional British, with local shops offering the same wide range of produce for catering at home.

 

Quesada is approximately 30 minutes drive from either Alicante or Murcia airports. An efficient motorway system is easily accessed to get you to Quesada and for journeys further afield such as Valencia & Cartagenia.

 

Athough not essential, a car is recommended to make the most of this delightful area. Car hire is easily arranged via main car rental firms with pick up & return at the airport.  Driving is quite relaxed and stress free in this area.

 

We would advise that smoking is not allowed inside the Villa and regret that pets cannot be accommodated.
